Telehealth at River Vale
Due to the current safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering the option for clients to participate in distance (Telehealth) therapy services.
Teletherapy services are much the same as traditional in-person therapy services, but are held via a video call. Clients may use a computer, tablet, or phone to connect with their therapist and all services will be held on HIPAA compliant platforms to protect your privacy.
While some clients were initially hesitant to transition to Telehealth at the start of the pandemic, many have found that there are benefits to meeting this way. Some clients have even preferred meeting for their sessions via Telehealth. We recognize that this approach also allows flexibility in scheduling for some clients and will continue to offer this as an option for clients in the future.
Your therapist will discuss options for Telehealth prior to your initial session and may offer an in-person visit for the intake (first) session so that you may meet your provider face-to-face.
